In depth

Verdict

Touch Of Frost has been showing good pace over 6f in strong maiden company and his pedigree suggests that could be his trip. But he finished behind Fisherman's Blues when both made their debuts over 5f at the Curragh in April and the latter did even better behind Air Force Blue over an extra furlong there last month. That winner is trained by Aidan O'Brien, who has seven of the original entries for this and relies on PORT DOUGLAS. He's a son of Galileo out of a mare who has produced winners with her first five foals including a German Derby winner. He's in the Group 1 National Stakes and can justify the entry with a debut success. Sunglider is by High Chaparral out of a mare who has produced multiple winners. He has no fancy entries but his stable won this last year with the useful Tombelaine.
