Verdict

It's hardly surprising that Willie Mullins is striking while the iron is red hot with DE SENECUTE, who followed up her demolition job on the flat at Ballinrobe with an easy victory from a mark of 84 over timber at Cork. She has been raised to 105 for future handicaps so she's effectively 15lbs well in here. Morotai Marauder showed improved form over timber to land a Down Royal handicap but an 8lbs rise makes life more difficult while top weight Watermelon ran a shocker at Wexford last time after a fine effort at Clonmel. Double Kudos has won once in 20 starts over hurdles and has been chasing without success but he's dropped to a fair mark and could be challenging for place money.
