Verdict

Manvers House ran a nice race behind Supreme Novices’ third Chantry House at Newbury and has a leading chance on that form. But Nicky Henderson should know where he stands with the progressive FUGITIVES DRIFT, who beat a good yardstick at Huntingdon on only his second run over hurdles. Fidelio Vallis landed the odds at Wincanton without coming of the bridle to may not be able to dominate this field as easily. Global Society didn’t last home over 2m5f here last month but a return to 2m will suit. Golden Taipan likes it here but is giving 12lb and upwards to his rivals less his rider’s claim.
