        Verdict

        Attempting to fathom out a draw bias at Kempton can be a fruitless campaign at the best of times so it may be prudent to concentrate on recent form when drawing up a shortlist for this competitive little contest for the grade. And the vote goes to Shirley Oaks, who arrives here on the back of a confidence boosting win at Lingfield and will not have to step up much on that form to follow up today. The six-year-old mare easily reversed recent form with Packing Em In on that occasion and is confidently expected to confirm her superiority if she can stay out of trouble as the race unfolds this time. Due To Me and Extemporise are others that are worth monitoring for signs of support as they have a race of this nature well within them if they consent to run anywhere near their best. Whereas Indian Warrior and Tee Jay Kassidy also have place claims and will be dangerous to dismiss. However, Shirley Oaks has the ability to quicken at the end of her races and may have too much of a finishing punch for them all if she gets a clear run inside the final furlong.
