Verdict

HARRIS TWEED looks to have a good opportunity to land a deserved first win of the season. He appeared not to last the distance in the Yorkshire Cup a fortnight ago but his earlier placed efforts, in the Hardwicke at Ascot and a Group 3 at Goodwood in July when pipped at the post by Drunken Sailor, is good enough form to land this prize. Simon De Montfort has disappointed since winning a handicap at Meydan back in January and collateral form of his latest third at Windsor has him closely matched with Listed winner City Leader. The remainder all have plenty to find on today's terms with Myplacelater making most appeal judged on her placed efforts in Group company.
