Verdict

Itzacliche's third to Miss Vivian at Dalston wasn't a bad run but Nicky Richards' 12-year-old clearly isn't the force of old. Picabo Kid was third to Eleazar at Fakenham last time and could make the frame, though Commercial Express and Knight Woodsman would have stronger claims if back to their best. Beau Traveller was pulled up when ABRAGANTE won this under a confident ride last year. The 11-year-old hasn't been seen since and normally needs a run or two to blow away the cobwebs but he'll be hunted around here on the bridle and has the class to come out on top again.
