SILVER GENT showed plenty of battling qualities to get off the mark at Perth on only his third start over hurdles. He doesn't look particularly well handicapped and will need more here but is at least still heading in the right direction, which is more than you can say about the majority of today's rivals. Milano Magic is likely to be doing his best work at the finish and may be the danger as Wetherby scorer Ballythomas was well beaten off today's mark at Ayr earlier. Riskier has won five times over fences but never over hurdles and is worth opposing again while Wayne Manor is 4lb higher than when second at Wetherby.
