Verdict

LAST OF THE BUNCH comes into this race off the back of some decent efforts and is taken to get back in the winners enclosure with both Chester Lad and Cocoa Key worth noting. The selection landed a bumper at Carlisle last October and broke her maiden tag over hurdles on her second attempt at Musselburgh on her penultimate outing. She was not discredited on her latest outing after finishing fourth of eleven with a penalty and as this race looks like an easier opportunity she ought to take some beating. Chester Lad broke his maiden tag at this venue albeit over two miles. He takes a big step up in trip this afternoon but with the ground conditions being much quicker that should compensate for the longer distance. Cocoa Key showed promise after landing a bumper at Doncaster on his second outing but has since failed to live up to expectations. He has however run with credit in defeat and is sure to give his supporters a good run for their money. Last of The Bunch comes from a shrewd yard and is sure to have plenty of supporters.
