In depth

Verdict

TOUR D'ARGENT looks the obvious one here with the Henderson yard continuing in such good heart and can go in again, especially with the talented David Bass claiming his useful 3lb allowance. What Er Say scored at a massive price at Fontwell when battling on in doughty fashion but he drops down dramatically in trip here. He should go well again but will probably lack the necessary toe to overcome the selection. Monte Cavallo is a newcomer of interest whilst Russe Blanc looked promising when a solid third at Chepstow in early November and is a likely each-way option with improvement looking assured.
