In depth

Verdict

An ordinary fillies maiden can go to Alexia Rose, who is selected over Molly Marie and Squaw Dance, who make the most appeal out of, what looks a modest bunch that oppose from the rest. The latter hails from a yard that always have to be respected when they head up north from Newmarket. This daughter of Indian Ridge showed enough on her debut to suggest that a race of this nature is within her somewhere along the line and, with improvement anticipated, she looks sure to go well. However, she would not want the ground to be too soft and the betting will be the best guide as to the expectations held of her on the predicted going. Molly Marie has come up against some useful types in her races and he form figures are more respectable than they appear at first glance. However, she is proving to be expensive to follow and others make slightly more appeal today. No more than Alexia Rose, who is open to plenty of improvement now that she steps beyond the minimum trip again.
