Verdict

The vote here goes to Satchem ahead of Zero Tolerance and St Andrews. The best of these on official ratings, Satchem is a useful miler who has form on good to soft. He has returned this season in very good heart and looks the one they all have to beat today. The softer the better for Zero Tolerance and, given that he has only seven pounds to find with Satchem on ratings, cannot be ruled out of winning. St Andrews also holds claims based on his best Listed form, which has come on soft going, while St Petersburg, who also goes well on soft, has a bit to find with the principals on adjusted ratings. That same comment applies to the bottom two in the list which, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is Satchem.
