MAGIC OF REALITY was the subject of bullish reports first time out but ran green and finished sixth at Newbury, before being upped into Listed grade at Newmarket when a respectable fourth. She still looked far from the finished article that day and the form of both races looks much stronger than appeared at the time as the respective winners of those contests were Banoffee and Talent who both take their place in the Oaks field. This looks a more straightforward assignment for the daughter of Galileo dropped to a mile and she can break her maiden status. Narmin looks a certain improver after a promising Newbury debut and should appreciate the extra furlong here, whilst there are three newcomers to check out in the market - Roger Varian's 300,000gns purchase Ardingly, Sir Michael Stoute's Integral and Hughie Morrison's Mint Crisp, the latter pair both daughters of Arc winner Dalakhani.
