The annual jump jockeys contest to get this season finale card underway and WYETH is given the vote to land it ahead of Go Amwell and At The Money. Bred in the purple being a half-brother to George Washington and Grandera, he has acquired the quirks of that pair but not the ability. He finally scored for the first time on his penultimate start and followed that up with a good win over hurdles last time. Just 4lb higher for his flat win, if he opts to put his best foot forward here he will take all the beating. Go Amwell has shown a liking for this venue with two course victories. An out-and-out stayer who has won over three miles, he is 7lb higher for his easy win last time and judging by that victory is a big danger to the selection. At The Money has been lightly raced throughout the summer and returns here after 125 day off the track. He has proved in the past that he goes well fresh while Danzatrice is another to consider with any drying in the ground aiding her chances. Mohawk Star posted back-to-back victories on the all-weather last month before that winning sequence came to an end last time out. It could be that he is now in the grip of the assessor. Despite concerns with regard to his attitude, Wyeth is selected to win this.
