In depth

Verdict

Senses, twice a winner on the Flat for Jeremy Noseda in 2009, now represents a powerful yard that rarely sends runners to the track under-prepared and he could go close if handling the easier ground. French import American Ladie found only one too good on her UK debut at Lingfield, while Camden has already won a bumper and a point-to-point. Catspan should have learned lessons from his fifth at Sedgefield but the logical choice looks to be SIRE DE GRUGY, who will relish this ground on breeding and made a very encouraging start to his hurdling career when runner-up at Kempton.
