Verdict

Saphir De Rheu beat Whisper in this 12 months ago but there is nothing of that pair's calibre in this year's renewal. The former's stablemate Silsol heads the weights but the Cheltenham fifth is 7lb higher than when scoring narrowly at Newbury earlier. Puffin Billy looks to be having a confidence-booster and William's Wishes has also been chasing but Virtuel D'Oudon appreciated a return to hurdling when scoring at Taunton and Oscar Sunset won at the same track two weeks ago, though doesn't always find much under pressure and was out-battled by Radmore's Revenge here earlier. The latter is one of seven carrying more than their allotted weight today with A Doll In Milan, Little Boy Boru and Taj Badalandabad similarly inconvenienced. FORYOURINFORMATION is the first of four rides today that Paul Townend has for Rebecca Curtis and he can get the afternoon off to a winning start for the partnership. The handicapper hasn't gone overboard after he just got home in a maiden hurdle here at the start of the month and he could be well treated.
