Verdict

Windy Millie - four times a winner between the flags - won a maiden hunter chase at Cork a fortnight ago but faces a tough task on her handicap debut. The Book Thief has now had 34 starts over fences and won once so he's not one to have confidence in though he did run well at Gowran last time. The Admiral Benbow is also a maiden and is unproven on ground this quick but LE GRAND CHENE will love the conditions. He landed a handicap at Towcester on good going in November and, now with Gordon Elliott and just 2lb higher, he can make a successful debut for new connections. After a very good win at Limerick last month, Moss Grove started favourite at Gowran a few days later but jumped poorly and was pulled up.
