In depth

Verdict

Wilton Milan was close up when falling at Wincanton last month in the race won by Bertie Boru. It would be no surprise if he came out best of that pair today with a clear round as the winner has turned in a woeful performance at the same track since, making several mistakes before falling when in rear. Saroque likes to make the running but could be there to be shot at over this longer trip while Sandown scorer The Italian Yob disappointed when favourite at Cheltenham and is also trying 3m for the first time. There is no doubting the stamina of Huntingdon winner DARE TO ENDEAVOUR and he looks the most likely victor here given Dark Glacier took a backward step at Warwick last month and Master Todd is making his seasonal reappearance.
