Verdict

Freckle Face is on a hat-trick after a couple of victories at Towcester but has a double penalty to contend with. Flaming Charmer won at Chepstow in November but still takes chances at his fences while Gores Island hasn't tackled the larger obstacles since falling at Plumpton in April last year, though did win over hurdles at Sandown in November. However, he was no match for SEEBRIGHT at Fontwell in November when receiving 8lb. Victor Dartnall's seven-year-old has always looked a chaser in the making and could outclass these with a clear round.
