Verdict

Epsom Salts has a solid record at his local track and should give Denis O'regan a good ride in this jump jockeys' challenge. He hasn't scored for a couple of years, however, and SHESHA BEAR is preferred for the Portman team that's ticking along nicely at present. The mare has returned in good heart following a lengthy absence and both recent wins have come here - she can defy a 6lb penalty. Palawi, capable under both codes, hasn't been seen since the spring but is a useful hurdler who may have more to offer on the level. Market support would be interesting on this return to action, whilst Gunslinger and Mohanad also merit respect.
