The veteran Well Insured is in tremendous form having dead-heated here in December and scored outright last month. He's up 6lb for that latest victory but Dylan Hogan's claim nullifies the extra and he's an obvious threat to all. Poker Gold scored on the Polytrack at Lingfield and has joined Willie Mullins so we should see him hurdling before long. He surprisingly started favourite on his first run for the champion trainer here three weeks ago but never got into the action. Excelli has had very little experience for his age but he's steadily making progress and only failed narrowly to overhaul Mount Flora last month. He's still on a very lowly mark and looks capable of going on to better things but may find ASIAN WING in his way here. He was a couple of lengths behind in that latter race but that was his first start for John Feane and he didn't get the best of runs.
