Verdict

Cougar Ridge was beaten a short-head by Leitir Mor in a Group 3 over 6f at the Curragh and though only sixth in the Mill Reef at Newbury he didn't get the clearest of runs. Stablemate Horizon Sky is making good progress but needs to step up from his nursery victory at Gowran while UK raider No Jet Lag, though twice a winner in mid-summer, has more to do. Roseraie has been staying on strongly over this trip in Group races and will probably do better with another furlong to travel so this is best left to Aidan O'Brien, who runs LINES OF BATTLE and Infanta Branca. The former began with a victory over Leitir Mor at the Curragh before a fair run behind Dawn Approach in the Coventry Stakes. He couldn't quite cope with Grafelli in a Leopardstown Group 3 last time but that was no disgrace and he can get back to winning ways. Infanta Branca had also beaten Leitir Mor narrowly at the Curragh but that was over 5f and she takes a big step-up in trip.
