Verdict

Art Show is still a maiden but getting closer and should get into the frame while the veteran Mt Weather can hardly go any lower in the ratings and won from a higher mark at Laytown in September. Sophies Echo hasn't run over a trip this short since scoring at the Curragh in 2011 but she was just touched off over 7f here last week and must be a threat to all, though it's LIKE MAGIC who gets the nod. He started last year on a mark of 78 and is now 19lb lower which is why he's been running well recently. With his rider claiming 3lb and a fair draw he can carry his big weight to victory despite never having won on the track.
