Gary Phillips rode a winner at Roscommon on Monday and Gordon Elliott has been quick to snap him up for Esporao, who was last seen sauntering home by 17 lengths in a claiming hurdle at Perth. Marc Monaghan is excellent value for his 3lb claim which reduces the 8lb extra the assessor handed Creek Falcon for his C&D victory last week. Invincible Soul has never been a prolific winner but has dropped to such a lowly mark nowadays that he must be a threat though LORD KENMARE looks the one to be on as he's just 4lb higher than when scoring over the C&D in January and arrives in very good form. Paene Magnus makes his handicap debut and has shown enough to suggest he'll be thereabouts.
