Floristry is very progressive and can take this step up in class in her stride; Maze joins Fateh Field on the shortlist. A winner at York last time out (despite drifting markedly in the betting), Sir Michael Stoute's filly has improved with every start. The first two pulled some way clear on that occasion and with ground to suit today she can win again. Fateh Field is one of the more intriguing runners in the lineup. This $500,000 colt made a very pleasing debut at Newbury. He was a three length winner on that occasion and whilst he take a step up in class (but down in trip), a big run must be expected given his ability to act on rain-softened ground and also the likelihood on breeding that he will handle a faster surface. Maze bounced back from a poor run last time out when second in the Rockingham at York, whilst Look Busy has plenty of early toe but is better over the minimum trip. Master Chief has a worrying tendency to be slow away, whilst Nacho Libre drops in trip which looks a good move. However he tends to pull too hard in the early stages of his races and so we will happily return to Floristry as the selection.
