Verdict

This is a really tricky puzzle to solve, though Scrutiny hasn't pulled up many trees this year. Knavery won on his debut at Kempton and could be anything, though the handicapper hasn't taken any chances. Championship tackled pattern company last year while Regiment has been in good form, though this will be his first try over 1m. Moohaarib had little to beat in a Ripon maiden at the start of the month and will find this a much tougher test. NONNO GIULIO has yet to encounter a surface this fast but there's no reason why he won't handle conditions and a repeat of his latest third at Haydock gives him every chance of a first success since arriving from Italy. He's preferred to stablemate Zerfaal, who ran a shocker at Newmarket last time.
