FANTASIA's season may not have lived up to expectations but the form of her Longchamp third has worked out well enough. Dangers include Royal Confidence and Say No Now. She's unlikely to be much of a price and won't appeal to all punters but this is the easiest task that Fantasia has been faced with this season. She bolted up on her reappearance before finishing third to Elusive Wave in Paris where the pace of the race wasn't thought to have suited her. Her subsequent defeat in the Prix de Diane is harder to explain but she's been given the time to come to herself and may be able to go some way to redeeming her reputation. She'll take all the beating if running anywhere near her best form but there has to be a doubt as to whether she's still capable of reaching those heights. Royal Confidence bounced back to her very best when behind Dream Eater and Confront at York; that form has been franked, she won at the meeting last year and rates the likeliest danger. Say No Now has her limitations but is a reliable front-runner over a mile and has place claims whilst Select, who only has a maiden win to her name, belied market expectations at Goodwood and could build on it. Shamwari Lodge has made rapid strides this season and, therefore, makes more appeal than many in this field but she has plenty of ground to make up with a peak form Fantasia.
