Verdict

ART CONNOISSEUR can maintain his unbeaten record and land a first Group One prize. Michael Bell's charge has won his three races to date and showed a startling turn of foot to land the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. Connections report him to have thrived since and he should have too much toe for Mastercraftsman. He rates the main danger having edged out Alhaban in the Railway Stakes over course and distance last time. Aidan O'Brien's juveniles are clicking into top gear and there is more to come from the son of Danehill Dancer. Bushranger was impressive in Anglesey Stakes last time and is a progressive juvenile.
