      Verdict

There is no guarantee the softer ground will suit Perfect Grace, who has been beaten twice off this mark since landing the odds at Bath, and Doune Castle is a more interesting three-year-old after just the three starts. Nabhan followed up a win at Epsom with a good run over hurdles and stablemates Marengo and Ascot Day could figure if on a going day. Harmonise is penalised for scoring at Windsor 10 days ago but should handle conditions. TOBOUGGALOO missed the whole of last year but is a dual course and distance winner and hasn’t been disgraced in either start this year. Dropped another 2lb, Stuart Kittow’s may be ready to strike. Kingfast may be in the handicapper’s grip now but Cieren Fallon takes off 5lb and a visor is added today.
