In depth

Verdict

Carlisle winner Cultram Abbey has a 15lb hike to contend with and Jayo Time is up a further 12lb as he bids for a hat-trick. Orangeaday, Captain Clayton and Dark Spirit are other winners with something to prove off higher marks. In Fairness could be anything this season having ended the last campaign with a victory at Sandown but a couple of these have more recent form. Howlongisafoot finished behind stablemate Morito Du Berlais on his reappearance but TRIUMPHANT has gone close the last twice and George Gorman's 8lb claim could give Gary Moore's charge the edge in this. Street Entertainer won only a seller at Stratford last time and Saphir River makes more appeal.
