Verdict

After impressive novice victories at Wetherby and Warwick, HABBIE SIMPSON has run three times over this C&D, twice behind the classy Bobs Worth and the latest behind First Lieutenant at The Festival where a bad mistake halted him in his tracks. Providing he has recovered from those exertions he should have too much for these rivals though Global Power is looking a nice prospect and wasn't beaten far in a Grade 3 at Sandown last time. Bold Addition has had virtually nothing to do to land a couple of novice events but has plenty of scope, while both Bottman and E Major have shown promise but are taking on better company.
