In depth

Verdict

Bridlingtonbygones may well be suited by the switch to fences having struggled to get off the mark over hurdles. But Rachael Green's claim and MARIE DES ANGES' mares' allowance means he is giving 12lb to the Market Rasen winner, who can follow up here. Highrate won at Hexham in November and had Reasonable Force behind over course and distance last month and is preferred to Wilde Pastures of the others as the latter found little off the bridle when favourite at Sedgefield on Boxing Day and Brian Hughes has deserted him here in favour of Bridlingtonbygones.
