In depth

Verdict

Despite the small field this looks a competitive handicap though Edgeworth may struggle to complete his hat-trick after a couple of wins in claiming company at Lingfield. This is Sunny Future's tenth run at the track but he's only managed one win so far and more interesting is the lightly-raced Huff And Puff, who won on his reappearance last year. Morning Chief was made favourite ahead of his return to action at Kempton but never threatened to take a hand and finished some way adrift of POTENTIALE. John Hills' gelding may have needed that run and is now only a pound higher than when successful over this trip at Epsom last September - he warrants the selection.
