Verdict

Nicky Henderson could hold all the aces in this. He saddles three, including easy Sandown winner Soul Emotion, but WILLIAM HENRY won the bumper on the card three years ago and has developed into a very smart handicapper over hurdles. He finished ahead of stablemate Burbank when fourth in the Coral Cup and James Bowen again takes off a handy 3lb. Moon Racer probably hasn’t quite scaled the heights expected over timber but is still useful and could be a factor if staying the longer trip. Reverant Cust has been staying on over 2m but has gone up 7lb since his second at Kelso and Tomngerry’s recent win came in a Fibresand jumpers’ bumper. Jacks Last Hope looks too high in the weights while Clondaw Kaempfer doesn’t appear the force of old.
