In depth

Verdict

Lucy Alexander is in big demand for these races and was on board when ANCIENT TIMES was beaten a short-head over the C&D last week when Sydney Cove was third and North Brook well behind. A bad mistake at the third last didn't help matter that day and compensation awaits Philip Kirby's charge. Easter Vic's only victory under Rules came over 3m1f here and she probably needs further than this but Bollin Fiona's lone success was over this trip though that was almost two years ago. Top Brass ran his best race for a very long time over this C&D last March and the Irish raider is on a lower mark here though he's been in poor form recently. Nisaal found a bit of improvement at Wetherby and looks best of the remainder.
