Verdict

It's unlikely that this renewal will throw up as good a filly as last year's winner, White Moonstone, and there is little solid form to assess. Ivor's Princess has shown fair form but placed efforts at Bath should not suffice in an Ascot contest of this quality and CATERINA is preferred for the Hannon team. The Medicean filly was tailed off on debut but showed plenty more next time in the decent Newmarket maiden won by Desert Gazelle. She was just behind Hello Glory that day who was making her debut and logically the latter should have greater scope for improvement. However, Caterina only folded late on and can reverse placings if ridden more conservatively. Newcomers I'm So Glad and Wahylah require a market check.
