Verdict

Buckhorn Timothy has been a bit unlucky not to have won so far. He made Binge Drinker pull out all the stops over 3m at Chepstow earlier this month and his turn can't be far away. But CHAMPAGNE PRESENT is less exposed and has his sights lowered after contesting a Grade 2 at Cheltenham last month. He was earlier only beaten a nose at Aintree where he might have won had A P McCoy pressed the button a little quicker. Point-to-point and bumper winner Desilvano is clearly useful while there should be more to come from Bally Beaufort in the months ahead.
