Verdict

Nicky Henderson had seven entries still in this at the four-day stage and has declared four overnight. Theinval, who has won twice at Kempton this season, looks the pick of the quartet on recent form as Lyvius was beaten a long way in this last year off a lower mark. McCoy could conceivably have ridden stablemate Snake Eyes or Stonebrook but instead gets the leg up on The Saint James. The four-year-old stayed on strongly into third in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham and might be suited by this longer trip. Irish raider Knight's Parade has won his last three over hurdles and also scored on the Polytrack at Dundalk in February. He's still at the right end of the handicap but MIJHAAR was third over track and trip in December and is only a couple of pounds higher so could be worth an interest. Nexius was only fourth in that race and is now worse off at the weights, though the latter did impress last time at Haydock and may be on the upgrade. The progressive Enchanted Garden and Dell' Arca could also get involved.
