David Barron hopes to run star sprinter Pearl Secret in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket's Guineas meeting.
The speedy six-year-old only managed one win last season in the Beverley Bullet but he was only narrowly beaten in the Temple Stakes and was not beaten far in the Haydock Sprint Cup.
However, the caveat as always for the Qatar Racing-owned chestnut will be the need for some cut in the ground.
"He'll have an entry in the Palace House," Barron told Racing UK. "We'll just have to hope for some decent ground to be able to run him.
"I don't think he actually needs it very soft and if it's reasonably okay we'd like to run. We just have to take him as he is, but he's a very good horse on his day."
