Toast Of New York is continuing his recovery from the soft tissue injury that ruled him out of the Dubai World Cup.
The Jamie Osborne-trained four-year-old marked his arrival on the scene with a clear-cut victory in the UAE Derby at the meeting last year before going on to enjoy a fruitful American campaign.
Second in the Pacific Classic at Del Mar was followed by a nose defeat at the hands of Bayern in the Breeders' Cup Classic at Santa Anita.
Toast Of New York was subsequently sold to Al Shaqab Racing and was due to make his debut in new colours at Meydan this weekend, only for a setback to rule him out in early March.
Harry Herbert, racing manager for Al Shaqab, said: "There is no news really at the moment, he is just recovering from the soft tissue injury he sustained.
"There's no set plan, but obviously we would be looking at the Breeders' Cup as a long-term target.
"As this race (Dubai World Cup) was ruled out, there is no hurry. Jamie will start making plans when we see how the horse is recovering over the next month or so."
