Oliver Sherwood reports Puffin Billy to be none the worse for his heavy fall at Ascot on Saturday.
The six-year-old, who came a cropper at the final fence in the David Johnson Shawbrook Bank Graduation Chase won by Irish Saint, was given the thumbs up after being checked over and was enjoying time out in the paddock.
Sherwood will continue to monitor Puffin Billy's condition and will give him an easy time over Christmas being making any plans.
"He's fine and he's eaten up. The vet came this morning to have a look at him. He's bright and out in the paddock," said Sherwood.
"He's going to have physio and stuff like that this week. He'll have a quiet week and we'll pop away with him. He lives to fight another day."
