Nicky Henderson reports Bobs Worth firmly on course for the Lexus Chase at Leopardstown on December 28.

The 2012 Cheltenham Gold Cup hero has run just one since winning last season's Lexus, when fifth in this year's blue riband at Cheltenham.

Henderson said: "Bobs Worth worked really well this morning. I was delighted with him. He had to work with the other big one (Sprinter Sacre) and they did a really nice piece of work.

"Bobs Worth is ready to run in the Lexus. We're on course, so hopefully it will go to plan."

Sprinter Sacre appears increasingly likely to make his repearance in the Clarence House Chase at Ascot next month.

Henderson said: "Sprinter is ready to run. I've been talking to a few racecourses to see if he can have a gallop. Ideally, I want to have a proper run in the afternoon, rather than in the morning.

"He's ready to run to be honest. He's in good form.
