Next weekend's coral.co.uk Finale Hurdle at Chepstow is a potential next port of call for Karezak following his sound recent effort at Cheltenham.

The three-year-old appears to be yet another smart juvenile hurdler for trainer Alan King and owners the McNeill Family after making a winning start to his jumping career at the Welsh track in October, narrowly defeating the talented Golden Doyen.

Karezak came up agonisingly short at Newbury next time out conceding weight and found Hargam too strong in last Saturday's Triumph Hurdle Trial at Prestbury Park, but King is hopeful there is more to come from his youngster.

The McNeil's have been fortunate enough to have owned Walkon, who won the Finale in 2008, Mille Chief and Grumeti.

King said: "It's possible that he'll head to Chepstow for the Finale Hurdle on December 27, or failing that we could wait for the race on Trials Day at Cheltenham at the end of January.
