Uttoxeter clerk of the course Charlie Moore is keeping an eye on conditions at the track as the Midlands venue is currently effected by fog.
Moore remains positive about this afternoon's meeting going ahead, but felt it best to keep people abreast of the situation.
He said: "We are currently shrouded in fog and we are monitoring the situation.
"I'm hopeful it won't cause a problem and the last fence has just come back into view, but fog does tend to come and go so we will be monitoring it carefully."
The first race is scheduled for 12.15pm.
