Telescope is reported to be in fine form as he gears up for the Breeders' Cup Turf at Santa Anita on November 1.

The four-year-old was last seen finishing third in the Juddmonte International at York but had previously won the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot before chasing home Taghrooda in the King George.

Telescope, who is owned by Highclere Thoroughbred Racing and trained by Sir Michael Stoute, has been given a spell on the easy list since that York run but connections are now looking forward to their American adventure.

An update on www.highclereracing.co.uk read: "On his most recent start Telescope locked horns with two of the best middle distance horses seen all year in Australia and The Grey Gatsby and, at what was short of his optimum distance, put up a really good performance.

"He will no doubt relish every yard of the mile and a half at Santa Anita on ground that is usually fairly quick, which should also suit him.
