Sire De Grugy's jockey Jamie Moore has today been announced as ambassador for London Racecourses for the 2014/15 National Hunt Season.

Moore enjoyed a great 2013/14 season which included six Grade race wins, three of which were at London Racecourses and he is already looking forward to reuniting with the equine superstar Sire De Grugy again this season.

The partnership dominated the two mile chase division which included the Grade Two Desert Orchid Chase at Kempton Park, the Grade One Tingle Creek Chase and the inaugural Grade One running of the Celebration Chase at Sandown Park.

Moore said: “It is a pleasure to be working with Sandown Park and Kempton Park Racecourses as their ambassador for the coming season.

"They are two tracks that I enjoy riding at and I have been lucky enough to have had some great successes at both, so I feel honoured to have been asked to take on this role.

"I am really looking forward to the Jumps season getting underway, especially on board Sire De Grugy.  The Tingle Creek is definitely part of the plan for him and following his operation, he seems really well.”

Rupert Trevelyan, London Regional Director, Jockey Club Racecourses, added: “We are very pleased to have Jamie as our Jumps ambassador for London Racecourses.
