Newmarket's key juvenile races in September have been given a prize money boost which has coincided with an increase in entries.

The meeting on Friday, September 26 sees the Group Two Shadwell Rockfel Stakes, which has swapped places with the Fillies' Mile and has attracted 80 possibles after being boosted by £30,000 to £100,000.

Saturday's feature, the Group One Connolly's Red Mills Cheveley Park Stakes, is up £10,000 to £180,000 and has 50 entries at the initial stage, up from 37 last year.

One horse engaged in both the Rockfel and Cheveley Park is Roger Varian's ultra-impressive Albany Stakes winner Cursory Glance.

Varian said: "She has done great since Ascot. She has definitely improved physically, she's a beautiful filly, very talented, and I am very happy with her.

"I don't know yet what her autumn programme will be but she's won a Group Three so all Group Two and Group One options are open to her."

Other Cheveley Park entries include Arabian Queen, Tiggy Wiggy and Anthem Alexander.
