After a wonderful shot on the 18th, Andrew Johnston had a bit of fun by mocking player partner Miguel Angel Jimenez's celebration.

Andrew Johnston unleashed his best Miguel Angel Jimenez impression after finishing his third round with a stunning eagle at the Scottish Open.

The charismatic Spaniard regularly shows off his dancing talents after holing from distance, but was left to stand and admire at Gullane as playing partner Johnston replicated his signature move.

Johnston, three over for the day heading to the last, holed his second shot from the fairway at the 18th to close a third round 71, throwing his club and hat in the air before copying Jimenez's trademark celebration.

“It was nice to finish like that, not only for the score but for a bit of fun on 18!” Johnston told the European Tour after his round. “You can’t beat the master (Jimenez) of it, but I thought why not let’s have a bit of fun and see how I compare to him! I think he enjoyed it.”

It's not the first time the 26-year-old has celebrated in style on the European Tour, having chest-bumped a spectator in the crowd after a car-winning hole-in-one at May's BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
