Premier League Darts: James Wade v Phil Taylor and Dave Chisnall v Gary Anderson picks of the night

Barney v Huybrechts

The Premier League Darts steam-rolls into Exeter for another night of entertaining arrows this Thursday, and you can watch it all unfold live on Sky Sports.

We've witnessed four weeks of pulsating action as 10 of the world's best darts players go to head-to-head on the oche.

As the fanfare sounds in the south-west, Sky Sports 1 will bring you live coverage of the five fixtures on offer this week.

Raymond van Barneveld v Kim Huybrechts

Reigning Premier League champion Raymond van Barneveld opens proceedings at the Westpoint Arena on Thursday and will be bidding for his first-ever victory over Kim Huybrechts.

Barney has lost on the six previous times the pair have met. The Hurricane from Belgium came close to hitting a 9-Dart finish last week in Belfast and the debutant will be desperate to get another point in the table as he struggles to keep up with the Premier League pace.

"I've never beaten Kim before but I hope to get my chance to beat him for the first time in my career and I'm looking forward to it," said van Barneveld, who defeated Michael van Gerwen in 2014's Premier League final.

More from Premier League Darts 2015

"You don't win games because of your name or because you're a five-time World Champion now, every week is a battle and its ten amazing players."

Wade v Taylor

James Wade v Phil Taylor

Six-time Premier League champion Phil Taylor meets the 2009 champion James Wade in Exeter as he aims to bounce back from a draw with Peter Wright in last week's leg.

In what will be a repeat of the 2008 and 2010 Premier League finals, this pair of rivals will be sure to light up with some impressive averages.

"It's a massive game but they're all good games now," said Taylor. "James knows what I'm going to do and I've got to go out there and perform.

Lewis v Bunting

Adrian Lewis v Stephen Bunting

Former world champion Adrian Lewis returns to the Premier League stage hoping to go better than his last two outings - draws to Michael van Gerwen and Kim Huybrechts - against the struggling Stephen Bunting.

Lewis knows that defeat to St Helens thrower Bunting could leave him in the battle to avoid elimination on Judgement Night.

He said: "It's a tough tournament and I've probably cost myself points in the last two weeks, but I'm looking forward to playing Stephen now because you can't dwell on things in the Premier League," said Lewis, who heads to Minehead at the weekend to defend his UK Open title.

Wright v Taylor

Peter Wright v Michael van Gerwen

Unbeaten Michael van Gerwen plays Peter Wright in Exeter, the man he beat in the 2014 World Championship final. Snappy-dressing Scotsman Wright has picked up vital points against Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld in the last two weeks but is still in desperate need of all three to prevent a fight on Judgement Night. Easy-peasy beating the world number one, right?

"I want to play well every week but anything can happen in this Premier League - the standard is unbelievable, really high," said Van Gerwen.

"Peter will be a challenge this week but he knows he needs points and the pressure will be on his shoulders, not mine. I look forward to playing big games against players like Peter and it's going to be a cracker."

Chisnall v Anderson

Dave Chisnall v Gary Anderson

Last up on the oche, in what will surely be the match of the night, the in-form Dave Chisnall takes on world champion Gary Anderson in a 180 slugfest.

Chisnall, who averaged 107 against Huybrechts last week, has surprised darts fans with his incredible form on the road so far, and currently sits equal top of the table with Van Gerwen. Anderson isn't far behind though, having only dropped two points once this season.

"I'm really looking forward to this game," said Chisnall.

"We're both the same type of player - we like to score heavily and even though we miss the odd double sometimes we'll be giving it our best.

"I've always looked up to Gary, but I'm going to go up there and hopefully beat him. I'm enjoying the season and when the darts go like they did last week it's a good feeling."
