Darts betting preview: Sky Bet identify the best bets for Week Four in the Premier League

James Wade, Stephen Bunting, Van Gerwen, Dave Chisnall

The Premier League circus crosses the Irish Sea this week as Belfast's Odyssey Arena hosts Week Four of the PDC event, and Sky Bet trader Andrew Bell has picked out the best bets for Thursday night.

Kim Huybrechts v Dave Chisnall

Both players were among the favourites to be relegated pre-tournament and remain so, but Huybrechts (15/8) has made a satisfactory start to his debut season in the Premier League, despite only having one point.

He has had a tough first three weeks facing Michael van Gerwen, James Wade and then Adrian Lewis last week, when he managed to earn a draw.

Chinsall (1/1) has made a solid start to the campaign and is sat in second place, one point behind van Gerwen. He hasn't faced the level of opponents Kimmy has faced, so the gap between them can be a little deceiving.

Huybrechts will see this as a real opportunity to get some points to help avoid relegation and prove the bookmakers wrong - Sky Bet currently have him at 4/7 to be relegated.

It's a tough fixture to call and it should be tighter than the bookies suggest, so Huybrechts at 15/8 to get his first win seems like a decent price.

More from Premier League Darts 2015

Gary Anderson v James Wade

Gary Anderson of Scotland celebrates winning a leg during the McCoys Premier League Darts Play-Offs Semi Final match, May 2014

The world champion got off to a flyer in 2015 with two wins in the first two weeks but was then taught a lesson by the high-flying van Gerwen last week as Anderson’s doubles eluded him, and MVG made him pay.

Wade is still unbeaten having ground out a couple of draws, with his sole win coming against Huybrechts.

It's difficult to see past the Flying Scotsman making amends this week by inflicting Wade's first defeat of the season. Back him to win comfortably - 7-2 and 7-4 are available at 6/1 and 4/1 respectively.

Michael van Gerwen v Adrian Lewis

Michael van Gerwen is unstoppable at the moment and is sitting pretty at the top of the league with the wins from three. He convincingly beat Anderson last week and his averages have all been well over 100.

Lewis, on the other hand, has had an indifferent start - a good win against Raymond van Barneveld before being easily beaten by Taylor, and then last week a draw against Huybrechts.

When on top form, MVG and Lewis are two of the most exciting players in the game and the Belfast crowd can expect a thriller here.

It's difficult to back against the Dutchman in this mood but, for those who do not want to back against two-time world champion Lewis either, back the over 10.5 legs 4/6 with Sky Bet.

Indeed, matches between these two normally produce a tight affair - each time they've met in the Premier League, they've gone over 10.5 legs.

Stephen Bunting v Raymond van Barneveld

Stephen Bunting celebrates winning a leg during his match with Raymond van Barneveld during the William Hill World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace,

Arriving to the Premier League has been a bit of a baptism of fire for Stephen Bunting, facing Wade, MVG and Phil Taylor in his first three weeks. He managed to get a draw against Wade in week one but was easily brushed aside by the other two.

He failed to perform in front of his home crowd last week in Liverpool, where the occasion maybe got to him a little.

After the tough opening, he will be relishing playing van Barneveld, who has started the season poorly. Barney drew 6-6 with Peter Wright last week, despite leading 5-1 at one point in the match.

Bunting can kick-start his Premier League season and prove his worth amongst the best in the PDC here. Back a Bunting victory at 11/8 with Sky Bet.

Phil Taylor v Peter Wright

Phil Taylor of England celebrates winning a set during the final of the 2015 William Hill PDC World Darts Championships at A

Despite his 7-5 loss against Anderson, Taylor has averaged 104, 108 and 100 in his opening three games respectively, taking two wins from three and only dropping three legs in his last two games.

Meanwhile, Peter Wright battled well to get a draw against Barney last week, but the previous two weeks have already cost him following heavy losses of 7-1 and 7-2.

He has it all to do against the 16-time world champion this Thursday. Wright could struggle for survival in this year's Premier League, and facing Taylor this week isn’t going to help his situation.

This could well be the first whitewash of the season and 12/1 on a 7-0 win for Taylor is worth a small bet, but a more assured bet is The Power to win -4.5 legs at 7/4 with Sky Bet.
