Palermo midfielder Franco Vazquez has admitted that he dreams of playing in the Premier League one day.

The 25-year-old has impressed in the opening three games of the Serie A season, finding the net twice so far.

And if such form continues, suitors from across Europe could well be expressing an interest in the talented Argentine, who admitted he would prefer a move to England.

"I love English football," Vazquez told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"The Premier League atmosphere is amazing, and I like English supporters.

"I would also love to play in the World Cup with Argentina's national team."

Vazquez was also full of praise for his coach Giuseppe Iachini, who he credits for his recent form.

"I can only thank him (Iachini) for showing faith in me," Vazquez added. "I have learnt a lot from him."
